Course Details:
PRINCE2 - PRojects IN a Controlled Environment
PRINCE2
is a structured project management method based on experience drawn from thousands of projects and from the contributions of countless project sponsors, Project Managers, project teams, academics, trainers and consultants.
Because PRINCE2 is generic and based on proven principles, organizations adopting the method can substantially improve their organizational capability and maturity across various areas such as business change, construction, IT, mergers and acquisitions, research and product development.
Who is it for
PRINCE2 accreditation is aimed at aspiring and practising project managers, also other project team members wishing to have an understanding of an approach to project management demonstrating standards and rigour.
It is also a course for anyone involved with projects directly at more senior levels or indirectly at any level wanting/needing to understand how projects run delivering change
Why follow this course
The course starts by looking at the structure of the project environment and why we have projects. Then the course takes you through the "Themes" areas of project management that need to be addressed throughout a project such as Risk, Business Case and Plans.
